Tug for Hire!

Tug is a true handyman.  He has a variety of experience ranging from painting and tiling to basic plumbing and building. Tug’s skills and expertise have developed over the past 30 years.  Hardworking and dependable, Tug has a solid understanding of a job done right.  Tug is someone who believes in open communication and building transparent, straightforward relationships with customers.  Services offered include (and are not limited to):

Painting –interior and/or exterior; Tile—bathrooms, kitchens, floors; Walkways/patios —pavers, flagstone, gravel, etc.—pavers, flagstone, gravel, etc.  Installation, repair and/or removal of plumbing fixtures—drains, faucets, garbage disposals, toilets, etc.; Landscaping, Yard clean-up and maintenance— trash removal, slash removal, leaf removal, pruning of trees and shrubs, rock walls, planting, gardens (raised bed construction, hoop house construction, soil mitigation), irrigation;  Decks—repair and refinishing;  Fencing—installation, repair, refinishing; Construction—Drywall repair and installation, Framing, Trim, Doors, Windows (repair, removal and/or installation); Cabinet and furniture refinishing.

Tug moved to Boulder in 1990, and knows its many surrounding areas well. He has been a Naturalist his entire life, and has enjoyed learning Colorado’s unique and diverse natural environments. He loves being outdoors, and has a passion for skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, windsurfing, surfing, running, mountain biking, fly fishing, hiking, rafting, climbing, hockey and soccer, just to name a few.  Tug holds a master’s degree in education, and as a professional educator, he taught mostly science, in addition to social studies, health and wellness, math.  He also coached middle school and high school soccer.  Tug also worked for years as a professional mentor, and recently spent a couple years as the manager of Boulder’s Runaway, Homeless Youth program.
